but the best ones were small signs placed several yards apart along the road side that each had 1 line on them. Together they read: We saw wildlife... from afar... 'til we hit them... with our car... SLOW DOWN!
This deer was just chillin' by the parking lot at West Thumb Geyser Basin.
There is beautiful scenery everywhere you go...
...even where it's all scorched from the hot springs. The bacteria make beautiful colors!
Da worked hard and had to learn a lot to get his Jr. Ranger wolf track badge. He was so excited he "couldn't believe it!"
We saw like a hundred bison in Hayden Valley. This one was between the road and a viewing area. There was another one on the pavement in a pull-off just standing there while a ranger was directing traffic around him!
And then this is us while we were checkin' out the geysers and hot springs. Da said they smelled like rotten eggs! And they do.
